Holdays are always so much fun. We had a busy 4th of July weekend, but on the night of the 4th we spent time with just us on the driveway lighting our own little fireworks. Dalin's favorites were the smoke bombs. He liked to help Dan light them and then throw them. Since smoke bombs don't actually blow up or anything we let him give it a try.
Then we lit some parachutes. They fly high up in the air and when they pop, a parachute comes down. Dalin thought these were fun too. He would scream everytime he found the parachute falling and then run over to get it and show us.
We had some really poopy sparklers. Apparantly I bought some really cheap ones because they really didn't do much but sputter a little bit. I worked out o.k. though, because Braden doesn't really like fireworks, but he did like these. He was really bumbed when we ran out of them.
