The Rec Center

This past winter Dan and I decided to get a pass to the Rec Center here in Vernal.  What a great choice that was!  Haven't regretted  it once.  We have spent quite a bit of time there.  The kids love the pool as you saw earlier.  They have a day care center that I can drop my kids off at and then go exercise for up to two hours.  In the winter months, every Tuesday and Thursday they set up one side of the basketball courts with a sort of obstacle course for the kids.  It's like a huge indoor playground and Braden and Landon have just loved it.  It gives us somewhere to go when the weather's crappy.  A lot of times we would show up and find some of our neighbor friends there to play with.

There are two bounce houses with slides and stuff that they spend a lot of time on.
Here is Landon with his little friend Jackson.  He lives just down the road from us and they are best buds.  Landon just loves this kid.
Up close and personal.  Once he realized I had a camera he kept wanting me to take his picture and then he'd pull a funny face and make me show it to him.

Landon really enjoys the obstacle course stuff.
They have tons of little bikes and trikes around that they also like to play on.  Below you can see Landon in the far background climbing on the obstacle course.
See the little slide thing in the background?  The little cart Braden is on goes on that track and it rolls up and down for a fun little ride.  Braden might be getting a little too big for this stuff but he still loves it.  Next year he'll be in school all day and then it's just me and Landon.
Teeter-totters are always fun.

And then finding new friends to wrestle and roll around with on the bounce house slide is always a good time too.

Here's Braden again on the car slide.  They really have a lot of fun and I'm glad Vernal gives us something to do during the cold months.  It's well worth the $40 every month for our family.

I am jealous of that place and the babysitting while you work out! Looks like a good place!
