Sack of Potatoes and Scouts

My kids love to play with their Daddy.  Dan is always very good to goof off with them, especially around bedtime.  As you can see from the pictures they have been playing sack of potatoes.  Dan lifts them up on his shoulder and carts them around the house looking for somewhere to put them.  Sometimes he puts them on top of the fridge, or in the garbage, and in this case in the pantry.  After all, that's where potatoes go.  Braden and Landon can't get enough of this game and they laugh and laugh.  They think it's so funny.  After they're done I have to rearrange my food shelves again and fix all the smashed containers, but the giggles I hear are priceless.

Some random picture of me that somehow ended up on here.  Not sure I meant to do that, but we'll leave it just for the heck of it.
Dalin is old enough to start scouts.  He was so excited and still is every time they have pack meeting.  We have been very blessed to have really good leaders so far.  He and Braden have gone to scouts with Dan several times and have really enjoyed it.  But now, he gets to go all by himself and do cool things.  Below he his hanging his bird feeder in a tree.

The first three days he would run out and check to see if the birds had eaten anything, but they hadn't.  We had some really windy weather and I think that may have been why they were eating it, but on day four there were about 50 birds out there and we watched from the window as they gobbled up his Cheerios.  He loved it.
